Here is another project I did from UStamp. It is a really cute little card/box which was designed by Dawn Rapsas. I made it using kraft and baja breeze cardstock, with the ever so cute bunny from the Forest Friends stamp set from SU.
When you undo the ribbon you can open up the card, or pull the corduroy button to open a little drawer that you can fill with treats or cards. I was going to get some treats (which is really code for chocolate!!!), to show this project and another one that I will show later this week, but being a chocoholic I was afraid that I would just eat them!!!
UStamp with Dawn and Friends Fall 09 is almost over, but they are starting another one mid October, this time based around the Holidays - I've joined up already!
Have a good week.

Notes & Treats UStamp Project
I have been having heaps of fun doing UStamp at them moment. This is the Notes & Treats project designed by Becky Roberts, it has a box at the top and a drawer at the bottom. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to make the cards yet to go with it. I used the Parisian Breeze Specialty Paper (love this paper), and the Yummy Stamp Set (no longer available).
I embellished with the cute butterflies made with the 5 petal punch.
Almost the weekend - Yeah.

Kellie's Sketch Challenge #3
Yay, I managed to do another challenge. This one is Kellie's Sketch Challenge #3, love these. I have used a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil, she has so many cute stamps, but I am still working out how to colour digital stamps. I usually watercolour but my printer ink seems to be water soluble and just runs everywhere. What a conundrum - so I pulled out the Stampin Up chalks, the effect is a lot softer (and I did use vanilla cardstock, so it probably doesn't stand out as much as it would have on white cardstock - oh well).
PS: I had to remove my visitor counter as it seemed to go a bit haywire. Just a week ago I was getting very excited as I was getting close to 1,000 (I was even thinking of doing some blog candy), then the next day I checked, it was 19,000+ WHAT THE?

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #22
I had done so much work on the last Magnolia Down Under Challenge, but I totally lost track of the cut off date (and I even had it almost finished it too : (, oh well I'll save it for another time). I was really excited though by the latest Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Anything but a Card. I love anything 3D, but what to do, what to do????
I had coloured in Beach Tilda a little while ago, and while going through my Scrapbooking papers I found some great paper that gave me an idea to cut out some of the images to put together a Summer Survival Kit. Its a tin case with everything you need for the summer days outdoors (which is finally heading our way) - sunscreen (a must in Australia), insect repellant (another must in Australia), body butter and lip balm.
After doing the design for the front of the tin, I then decided it really needed something inside, so duplicated the same design for the inside too.
Yeah only 2 days to the weekend!

Upsy Daisy Card & Box
Oops its been a while.
Here is a card and box I made recently. I love boxes (of any shape or size really, but especially little boxes). I have been trying to come up with some ideas for workshops. I added these gorgeous butterflies made out of the 5 petal punch - they are sooooo easy. I saw these at a lovely team day recently and my wonderful upline Debbie explained how you make them, so I had to give them a try (you can find the instructions here on her blog). The milk carton box you can find here on Splitcoast Stampers, I just changed the sizing to fit half an A4 sheet of cardstock.
I have some more, so hope to be back again soon.

Christmas Inspiration #3
Okay this is the 3rd and final instalment of my Christmas Cards (final for now, think I need a break from Christmas cards - but I do love Christmas).
I wanted a really elegant look so used the Tree Trimmings Stamp Set with a single colour and white. The background has been done using the Textile Texture embossing folder (I think that is what it is called), it has a bit of a Victorian feel about it and really adds texture to the card. On the inside I added Merry Christmas (from the Occasional Greetings Stamp Set) and a smaller ornament from the Tree Trimmings Set.

It is always nice to get to Wednesday - home stretch to the weekend YEAH.
