Happy Moments

I have been interstate for work this week and was so dying to get home so that I could play with my Sale-A-Bration goodies well finally last night I got the chance - YEAH.

I have been wanting to do an acetate (clear) card for some time, but was struggling to come up with a design I liked. Well when the Happy Moments Stamp Set came out in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue I got a bit of a brain wave (it happens occasionally - lol).

This card uses some new Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! called Kaleidoscope which is available now in the Summer Mini Catalogue. I have to say I wasn't entirely sure about this paper as it uses colours that I haven't really used, but I really liked the way this set turned out.

I used the parcel stamp from the Happy Moments stamp set, and stamped it on three different papers and pieced it together. As I had cut off the bow from the stamp (it was way to hard to cut out), I replaced it with some linen thread.

Some So Saffron ribbon finished the card perfectly.

I also made a pillow box from acetate and used the same design to decorate it.

It has turned out to be a beautiful day today in Melbourne, I hope you all are having a great day too - no matter what the weather is doing in your 'neck of the woods'.

  1. These are really cool Alison! Can I have mine full of Lindor please - LOL.

  2. These are just gorgeous. I love the pillow box. Very pretty.

  3. Was it Debbie who called you the Queen of Boxes?! She is absolutely right! Love the string around the parcel too.

  4. WOW Alison these look fabulous and I love LOVE those colours together!
