Cupcakes for morning tea

I caught up with a couple of lovely and talented friends (Chris and Debbie) who had celebrated their birthdays recently. We went to the "Where a Girl Goes" store/cafe for cupcakes and coffee. It has beautiful stationery, homemade chocolates, cupcakes and gorgeous teas.

I made them both a gift set that consisted of a fancy favor bag with hand cream and soap and a collapsible box with some lindt chocolates.

On the outside of both I used the En Francais background stamp, sponged the edges and added a watercoloured butterfly using the All a Flutter single stamp set (very similar to the cards in my previous post - see here). You can't see it, but I added crystal effects to the edges of the butterfly.

  1. Hi Alley and you said your mojo went for a walk. Love it. Thanks for sharing another beautiful creation.

  2. These are beautiful - I love how you did the shading - I could see matching cards too! Mary L

  3. These were sooooo fabulous to receive - what was in them was lovely but once that's gone I'll still have my little box and card! Thanx Alison - you are SUCH a sweetie!

  4. And I was a lucky recipient too! They take pride of place on my desk and inspire me to the creative perfection that you constantly achieve, Alison. Thank you!!!

  5. Another beautiful project - my birthday soon Alison - please start creating!!!
