For the first card I stamped the Medallion stamp in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White Cardstock and matted it onto some Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. I added a sentiment from Sincere Salutations, some Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon and to top it off some Rhinestone bling.
On the inside, I added another piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped off a small edge of the Medallion stamp in the bottom corner.
For the other card I decided to give it a bit of dimension with a two tone effect. I have used the new colour - Rich Razzleberry and added some Chocolate Chip to the edges of the stamp prior to stamping on the Whisper White cardstock.
I have wanted to try using my stamps on candles since seeing this done at Regionals by the talented Sue Madex.
My candle was a little small, so was a little difficult to handle, but I think it still turned out pretty well for my first go. This technique is so easy and has so much potential.
These are great Alison. I have this set too and love it. I love the candle. Very regal.
ReplyDeleteI really love your cards and the candle. I too have been meaning to try out stamping on a candle since regionals but have yet to get around to it! Maybe this weekend.... :o)
ReplyDeleteYou continue to amaze me with all of your creations! Well done.
